Zeg Oil and Gas Ltd first made a strategic investment in Forza Petroleum in 2016 (when it was known as Oryx Petroleum). Through a transaction on July 23, 2020, Zeg Oil became controlling shareholder of Forza Petroleum.

Zeg Oil is a privately held company based in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq that provides a broad range of engineering and construction services to the energy sector.
